The Patience of Divine Transformation

Reading: Exodus 3:1-12

Devotional: God's transformation in our lives rarely happens instantly. Just as Moses needed three encounters at the burning bush to move from "send anyone else" to obedience, we too require patient divine persistence. God doesn't zap away our doubts, fears, or complicated pasts. Instead, He lovingly wades into the complexity of who we are, meeting us in our questions and hesitations. His grace works progressively, not immediately, because He values our humanity and freedom. Today, reflect on areas where you're resisting God's call. What doubts are you bringing to Him? Remember, His patience with you is not a sign of His weakness but of His deep, abiding love that refuses to override your personhood.

Reflection Question: Where have you seen God patiently working in your life over time rather than forcing immediate change?
