Love And Knowledge
Day 2: Love And Knowledge
Reading: Hosea 6:4-6
Devotional: Life fills up more quickly than we realize. Before we know it our schedules are overworked with us running from place to place doing "good things", but so busy we never stop to ask if we are doing the "right things." Our spiritual life is no different. It is far too easy to fill our plate with working for God, yet sacrificing the love and knowledge of Him that He truly desires. Where would you say these two areas of your life with God are at today? Does your schedule need to be rearranged to make space to grow in the love of knowledge of God? Do some of the sacrifices you've been making at the altar need to be, themselves, sacrificed so that you can do the "right thing" rather than just the "good thing?"
