Day 1: Embracing Our True Identity in Christ
Reading: 2 Peter 1:1-2, Ephesians 2:8-10
Devotional: Peter introduces himself as both a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, reminding us that our primary identity is found in our relationship with God. Just as Peter understood his role as both a humble servant and a chosen apostle, we too are called to embrace our identity as beloved children of God. This identity isn't based on our accomplishments or social status, but on God's gracious choice to adopt us into His family.
Reflect on how you view yourself. Do you find your worth in worldly achievements or in your status as God's child? Consider how embracing your identity in Christ might change your perspective on life's challenges and opportunities. Ask God to help you live fully in the dignity He has bestowed upon you through Jesus Christ.
