Love That Keeps Promises

Reading: Genesis 12:1-3; Galatians 3:6-9

Devotional:
Mary references God's ancient promise to Abraham, reminding us that God's love is covenantal, not transactional. Our world offers conditional love: "I'll love you if..." But God says, "I chose you. I bind myself to you. I will remain faithful even when it costs me." Generations passed between God's promise to Abraham and the birth of Jesus. Yet God never forgot. His love doesn't expire when we fail or grow impatient. Today, you may feel you've blown your chances or waited too long. But covenantal love doesn't depend on your performance. God is still keeping His word to you. His faithfulness outlasts your failures. What promise from God are you tired of waiting for? Trust that His covenantal love remains.
