Favor In Unexpected Places

Reading: Exodus 11:1-3; Proverbs 21:1

Devotional: One of Scripture's most underrated miracles occurs when God gives the Israelites favor with their oppressors. Slaves asking masters for valuables should have been laughable, yet God moved Egyptian hearts in impossible ways. This reveals a profound truth: God can open doors you would never dream of prying open yourself.
Perhaps you're facing a difficult relationship, a closed opportunity, or a person who seems immovably opposed to you. God specializes in changing hearts and creating favor where none should exist. The wealth Israel received didn't just provide comfort—it later funded the tabernacle, their place of worship. God provides not only for your survival but for your ability to worship Him.

Stop limiting God to the channels you think are possible. He may be preparing provision through the most unlikely source.

Reflection Question: What "impossible" situation do I need to surrender to God's ability to move hearts?
