Fear Will Talk, But God Will Act

Reading: Psalm 46:1-11

Devotional: "Be still, and know that I am God." The Israelites didn't stop being afraid after the Red Sea; fear would return. But they gained something to point to when panic rose again—evidence that what felt ultimate (Pharaoh's army) was not ultimate (God's power). When you're standing between Egypt and the sea—when money is tight, loneliness is loud, or life transitions leave you disoriented—remember the pattern: Turn (trust God's positioning), Cry (interrupt the panic spiral), See (collect evidence of faithfulness). The biggest miracle may not be instant problem removal but becoming someone who can stand at the sea, feel fear rising, and still declare: God is here, and His hand is stronger than whatever feels strongest today.

Reflection Question:
What evidence from your past can you point to when fear tries to rewrite your future?
