Day 2: Finding Strength in Fearing God
Reading: Exodus 1:15-22, Psalm 112:1-8
Devotional: The midwives Shiphrah and Puah demonstrated remarkable courage by fearing God more than Pharaoh. Their example challenges us to examine what we fear most in our lives. Are we more concerned with pleasing others or honoring God? Psalm 112 reminds us that those who fear the Lord need not fear bad news. Consider an area of your life where fear may be holding you back. How might your actions change if you prioritized reverence for God over that fear? Pray for the courage to stand firm in your faith, even when faced with opposition or uncertainty.
