Reading: Isaiah 26:3-4
Devotional: "Peace upon peace upon peace"—this is God's promise to minds fixed on Him. Notice the condition: dependence and trust. We live in a culture that equates peace with the absence of problems. Get the right job, enough money, smooth circumstances—then we'll have peace. But this creates an exhausting cycle where peace is always one achievement away. Jesus offers something radically different: peace that exists regardless of circumstances. This isn't denial or pretending problems don't exist. It's anchoring your soul to an unchanging God while storms rage around you. Where is your mind fixed today? On the problem or the Problem-Solver? On the threat or the Protector? Spend five minutes in silence, consciously redirecting your thoughts from your circumstances to God's character. Let this become your daily practice.
