Reading: Matthew 11:28-30; Hebrews 4:9-11
Devotional: "Come to me, all who are weary," Jesus says. Advent's greatest invitation is to stop striving and start trusting. You cannot earn God's approval. You can only receive the love already given. The law says, "Do this and it is never done." Grace says, "Believe this and everything is already done." What are you tired of trying to achieve? What performance are you exhausted from maintaining? God's love stands at the starting line of your life, not the finish line. It's where everything begins. This Christmas, give yourself permission to rest in the truth that you are loved—not because you've measured up, but because God decided long ago that you are worth loving. Let it be to you according to His word.
