Rally Under The Banner

Reading: Exodus 17:14-16; Psalm 20:5-8

Devotional:
Moses named the altar "The Lord is my banner." A banner is what you rally around when battle is chaotic, what you fight under, what reminds you whose you are. Israel didn't win because they were better—they won because they belonged to the Lord. Where are you rallying today? Your competence? Your resources? Your strength? Or the Lord Himself? God uses your sword like Joshua's, but He doesn't share credit because victory truly is His alone. This isn't narcissism when God does it—it's reality. He is eternal, perfect, and all-encompassing. Stop looking only at the valley. Lift your eyes to the hill. Rally under the banner that declares: The Lord fights for His people. Let that truth steady you today, whatever battle you face.
