Fighting From Victory, Not For It

Reading: Colossians 2:13-15; Ephesians 6:10-13

Devotional: Amalek became a recurring enemy throughout Israel's history, revealing that our deepest battle isn't flesh and blood—it's spiritual. Sin, death, evil, and darkness wage ongoing war. But here's the good news: in Jesus, the decisive battle has already been won. You're not fighting for victory; you're fighting from victory. This changes everything. The war has been decided, though skirmishes remain until Christ returns. When your arms are heavy, remember: you're not holding up the world. You're holding onto a Savior who has already secured you. The outcome isn't in question. What valley battle feels overwhelming today? You're not fighting to earn God's favor or secure salvation—Christ already did that. You're simply standing firm in the victory He's already won.
