Dry Ground In The Middle

Reading: Joshua 3:14-17; Isaiah 43:1-3

Devotional: The priests didn't walk around the Jordan or fly over it—they walked through it on dry ground. God's practical power often looks like this: not escape from difficulty, but solid footing in the middle of it. You may have prayed for God to remove your trial, but instead He gave you strength to endure it. That's grace too. Grace isn't always being lifted over the river; sometimes it's discovering firm ground beneath your feet where you thought you'd drown. Some of you didn't think you could survive your grief, face that conversation, or keep showing up—but God gave ground. Not the whole path at once, but enough for the next step. What impossible situation are you in today? Look for the dry ground God is providing right where you stand.
