Remember What God has Done

Reading: Exodus 19:1-6

Devotional: "I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself." God's first word to Israel at Sinai wasn't a command—it was a reminder. Before giving any instructions, God pointed backward to His rescue. Why? Because relationship always precedes obedience. When we're tempted to see God as a cosmic taskmaster, we need to remember: He didn't save us to use us; He saved us to be with us. Today, pause and remember your own rescue story. Where were you when God found you? What Egypt did He bring you out of? Let gratitude, not guilt, fuel your faithfulness. The God who carried you then is still carrying you now.
