Transformed By His Presence

Reading: Exodus 34:29-35; 2 Corinthians 3:7-18

Devotional: Moses' face shone because he had been with God. The Israelites tried to create visible glory through a golden calf—manufactured religion. Moses received true glory simply by wanting God's presence—transforming relationship. The contrast is striking: one is what happens when we try to drag God down to something manageable; the other is what happens when God draws near to us. We don't shine by building something impressive; we shine by being with Someone glorious. And Jesus is that glory made flesh. As 2 Corinthians says, we are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory. Don't settle for manufactured religion, self-help projects, or calf management. Seek His presence. Spend time with Him. Let Him transform you from the inside out. That's where true glory comes from.
