When Your Arms Grow Heavy

Reading: Deuteronomy 25:17-19; Exodus 17:11-12

Devotional:
Moses couldn't hold his hands up forever. And if Moses got tired, so can you. This isn't failure—it's design. American culture celebrates independence, but God designed you for active dependence. When Moses' arms dropped, Aaron and Hur didn't shame him; they brought a stone and held his hands steady. Needing help is not spiritual weakness; it's how God provides. Perhaps the most spiritual thing you'll do this week isn't dramatic—it's letting someone sit with you in grief, accepting that meal, or simply texting someone, "I can't do this alone." Conversely, if you have margin right now, whose hands can you help hold up? God wins battles through communities supporting weary leaders. You were never meant to fight alone.
